Nano Today 2013 Cover Competition
See your work on the cover of Nano Today!
Nano Today invites you once again to submit your best image, related to nano materials and devices, to be considered for publication on the cover of one of six 2013 issues.
How to enter
To enter our cover competition, please submit your previously unpublished, nano-related image by Monday, 19 November 2012. We encourage you to be creative and imaginative, but images should be inspired by topics published in the journal, which are as follows:
- Synthesis and Self-Assembly of Nanostructured Materials and Films
- Processing and Templating of Nanotubes and Nanoporous Materials
- Tailoring of Polymeric Nanoparticles, Organic-Inorganic Nanocomposites and Biohybrids
- Fabrication of Nano and Micro Electro Mechanical Systems
- Design and Engineering of Structural and Functional Nanomaterials
- Nanosystems for Biological, Medical, Chemical, Catalytic, Energy and Environmental Applications
- Nanodevices for Electronic, Photonic, Magnetic, Imaging, Diagnostic and Sensor Applications
The deadline is 19 November 2012
Rules
- The image must be a tif or jpg file of at least 300 dpi resolution, no less than 150mm square, and must be previously unpublished.
- Include a brief description of the image and your contact details.
- Entries are judged on their scientific merit, as well as the attractiveness of the image and its suitability as a cover image.

Six winning images will be chosen and featured on the cover of the journal throughout the 2013 catalogue year. Images may also be used for other marketing purposes.
Winners will be selected by our judges after 19 November and notified within 21 days of the close.
- The promoter of this competition is Elsevier Ltd.
- The winning image will be selected by judges appointed by Nano Today.
- The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering your image to this competition, you agree that Elsevier can use the image in future promotional material.
- Submitted images will not be considered if they are submitted in an incorrect, or unusable format.
