I would like to remind you kindly that on-line registration of participants of EMRS Fall Meetings symposium M “Nano surface layers on metals and ceramics” which will be in 2010 in Warsaw from September 13 till September 17 is continued through web-address

- Modelling of technological processes and properties of nanolayers on metals and ceramics;
- Problems of adhesion of surface layers and base material;
- Structural peculiarities of nano surface layers;
- Modern technologies of nano surface layers on metals and ceramics (CVD, PVD, zol-gel, detonation, plasma etc). Progressive technological equipment;
- Thermal barrier coatings;
- Improved mechanical properties of the coatings;
- Tribological nano layered coatings;
- Functional coatings (gradient, multilayer, multicomponent, hybrid, sensor, optical, bio- etc);
- Corrosion resistant protective coatings;
- Special technologies for coatings onto large-sized products;
- Main results of international projects (including FP7) on the development of nano surface layers on metals, ceramics, and composites for different applications.
