PhD research will be in the area of carbon nanomaterials (nanodiamond, nanotubes, graphene, nanoporous carbons) for electrical energy storage, biomedical and other applications. Titania films and powders, metal nanoparticles, and Raman spectroscopy are also among potential research topics.
